Overnight Oats My Way

Overnight Oats! Are you a fan? Some morning it's just too hot for cooking and this is an easy thing to grab when you don't have time to make breakfast. There are so many ways to make them and just as many different toppings to put on. The idea is to put them in a mason jar and then you can simply grab a spoon in the morning and dig in - or take them with you to work. Here's how I make mine:

Serves 1

Ingredients:

1/2 cup whole oats

1 cup almond milk (or whatever milk you'd like)

1 Tbsp sunflower seeds

1 Tbsp olive oil or flax oil

1/2 tsp cinnamon

teeny pinch of salt.

1 Tbsp ground linseed or chia seeds

1 scoop Nuzest Smooth Vanilla Clean Lean Protein*

Directions:

Stir all the ingredients together into a bowl or jar and cover. Top with your favourite berries, fruit, nuts, yogurt or nut butter (or all of the above) and place in the fridge overnight. Grab and go in the morning!

If you don't want to use protein powder, I would just smoosh 1/2 a banana instead as the protein powder adds sweetness. Or, just omit completely. You can add a Tbsp cacao powder or cocoa for a chocolate version too. :)
