Warm Apple Pie Smoothie


I have really been missing my smoothies on these colder days and so I thought to myself - who says they have to be cold? This smoothie is warm, delicious and filling!


Ingredients:

(serves 1)

1/2 apple, grated

1 cup almond milk (or any milk)

1/2 cup water

1 heaped scoop of Nuzest* Vanilla Clean Lean Protein

1 Tbsp MCT oil or coconut oil (or even olive oil!)

1 tsp maca powder (optional)

1 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp ground ginger

1/8 tsp allspice

1 small pinch of sea salt

Directions:

Warm all the ingredients in a small pot on the stove (or microwave) until it reaches desired temperature. Pour into the cup of your blender and blend as you would any smoothie until creamy.

Pour into your favourite mug and top wth a sprinkling of cinnamon and desiccated coconut. If you'd like your smoothie thicker - add 1 Tbsp of chia seeds.
